The social functions of the ICCCSC 2026 include a Welcome Reception, a Technical Harbour Sunset Cruise, a Gala Dinner and a Closing Function.

The Welcome Reception and pre-registration event will take place on the evening of February 3^rd in the scenic top floor venue of the GSB Conference Centre in the V&A Waterfront. Attendees will enjoy South African wines and panoramic views of Table Mountain, the city bowl and the harbour.

The Technical Harbour Cruise, scheduled for the evening of the second conference day, will offer delegates a scenic Sunset Cruise departing from Cape Town’s harbour. The route will take them along the coastline towards the beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay, while highlighting Cape Town’s historic and civil engineering landmarks from the sea.

The Gala Dinner will be hosted at GOLD Restaurant, featuring a 14-course African tasting menu and curated cultural performances. It as a combination of traditional food, interactive entertainment, cultural storytelling and live performances all wrapped into one evening

The Closing Function will provide a chance to reflect on the conference highlights, to preview ICCCSC 2028, and to bid farewell to both old and new colleagues, friends, and business partners.
